A call for MacDonald researchers and bloggers to contribute reflections on “The Light Princess” for Christine Chettle and Christi Williams’s digital storytelling project, “Subverting Laughter”:

Noticed that there are selected readings from four of George MacDonald’s Unspoken Sermons as a free download on iTunes U from Seattle Pacific University. They are The Cause of Spiritual Stupidity, Love thy Neighbour, The Eloi and The Consuming Fire. Just search for George MacDonald and they should come up.

Through it we intend to give notice of upcoming events, reviews and general ruminations on this fascinating, but often misunderstood writer. George MacDonald appeals to a wide spectrum of people and that diversity will be reflected here. Please feel free to add your own comments to the posts.

Published under the auspices of the George MacDonald Society it will also include ‘notices’ from the George MacDonald WWW Page (www.george-macdonald.com) and will hopefully become the the first port of call for news in the ‘macdonaldsphere’.
